Every country has its own import laws and regulations that must be followed before receiving any cargo. We make sure that the items that are being exported can be permitted to be imported into the destination country. Some of the limitations for vehicles can be vehicle age, left hand drive or right hand drive and is the vehicle new or used. There can also be limitations on personal belongings and products such as age of items, and materials used.

Payment can be made in the form of a wire transfer, cashier’s check, a credit card (credit purchase) and in some cases a personal check. Payment must be mailed to our offices in College Park, Maryland

We are able to give you expected departure and arrival dates. Some of the reasons why there may be delays are due to United States Custom delays, port congestion, sailings canceled because there is not enough freight, over booked freight, and weather conditions. There are no refunds or price deductions due to any delays with these factors that may occur. 

The number and kind of documents the exporter must deal with varies depending on the origin & destination of the shipment and description of the goods. Since each country has different import regulations, the exporter or importer must be careful to provide all proper documentation. Documentation must be precise, because slight discrepancies may prevent merchandise from being exported can result in nonpayment, or even seizure of the exporter’s goods by United States or foreign government Customs.

 Some required documents to ship cargo are Invoice , Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Inspection Certification, Dock Receipt and Warehouse Receipt, Destination Control, Cargo Insurance Certificate ,and Packing List. 

Yes you are able to receive your documents if we do the clearance for you in the United States of America. All documents that you provided for United States Customs clearance of your goods will be sent back to you. The documents are sent back to you after the vessel has sailed. We offer the option of having them mailed regular mail to a United States address or sent via FedEx to a United States or overseas address for additional fee. 

You have the option to pay us to pay the duties and taxes or yourself. We will provide our clients with all necessary costs and documents required prior to exporting/importing cargo to a desired country. Each country has different laws on exporting/importing goods, which affects the cost and criteria that must be followed by our clients. We consult with the Embassy of the destination country to clarify the laws. 

We provide all related fees and documents that are required included in the price quote. All documentation should be cleared by United State Customs prior to the loading of the cargo for export. It is essential that the client follows our instructions regarding documentation required. United States Customs often calls for a container to be returned from the Port to be re-inspected. The costs relating to this re-inspection fee must be paid to enter the loading port terminal. 

The destination fees are for the offloading of the goods and documentation fees charged by the destination agents and designated country. Each country has its own fees that they require from the container discharge and offloading fees are higher for Roll on Roll off (RoRo) discharge charges. 

A customs clearance broker is a person or company that will process the documentation and the goods through the import formalities of the country. We suggest our clients to employ this service to make it easier for our clients, we provide contact information for a customs clearance broker in the destination country. 

Yes, if your vehicle can fit onto a vehicle transport carrier we can arrange to have your vehicle picked up at your location and transported in an open or closed carrier and have it delivered to the loading port or terminal.

We offer clearing agents at all destination ports that assist you with the offloading and clearance of your cargo. Each port terminal is different and may require you to use their agents. If you are shipping your cargo in an exclusive container or Roll on Roll off (RoRo) you may sometimes have the option of hiring your own agent at the destination port.

This is a large sailing vessel that carries all vehicles that have wheels and can be driven or towed. The containers or vehicles are stored below deck and are not open to the weather conditions. This method of shipping is safer in protecting vehicles than a regular shipping vessel. For a vehicle to be transported on a RoRo vessel, it must be able to drive, brake or can be towed.

Unfortunately containers are not airtight. Changes in temperature and humidity while being shipped will occur we suggest cover all merchandise with plastic or a sheet for protection.

The limitations include size, weight and contents when shipping in a container. The internal dimensions of a 20ft container are approximately 19.5ft long by 7.5ft high and 7.5ft wide. The weight limit for a 20ft container is approximately 20,000 pounds. The internal dimensions of a 40ft container are approximately 39.5ft long by 7.5ft high and 7.5ft wide. The weight limit for a 40ft container is approximately 40,000 pounds. You may not ship any combustible materials and you are limited by what the destination country will allow you to import.
